PeerAtlas works to create maximum independence in its work to realize the mission of the project: the latest and rapid distribution and technology in the field of health care worldwide.
PeerAtlas will register its digital ATLAS token as an NEP-5 asset in the NEO unit. The release of ATLAS will make PeerAtlas easily accessible as a free medical resource and will provide it with high quality, comparable to the quality of paid projects.
The PeerAplas Encyclopedia will be aimed at medical professionals and the general public. Citizens and specialists can ask questions about any article and certain algorithms on separate pages for communication (forum threads).
With regard to registered medical professionals on the site, identity verification procedures will be applied, as well as check the status of the degree. Citizens (not medical professionals) may use real names or aliases to interact with the site. Readonly access to site content will be provided to users without registration or login. This rule will be useful to anyone who may need quick access to medical information during an emergency.
The long-term goal of the PeerAtlas project for the next 5-15 years is to integrate its activities with existing EMR databases (electronic medical records) after the creation of the medical library and PeerAtlas peer review system. After a period of 20-40 years, PeerAtlas proposes to shift the emphasis on the use of artificial intelligence to make treatment recommendations and individual algorithms for specific patients using current EMR patient data. AI may also work with anonymous ESDM data to conduct continuous clinical trials worldwide to develop evidence-based recommendations.
The founder of the PeerAtlas project is Dr. Brad Mattson, he has hatched the idea of the project since 2011, and since then he has been involved in its gradual application. He assembled a team of real professionals who shared the ethical beliefs of Mattson, among them co-founder Dr. Colin Klosser, Dr. Ling-Wu and others.
